• EAS applicants placing HKU programmes as their first choice
• EAS applicants who have received an admission offer
• EAS applicants admitted with 7 to 10 'A's in HKCEE (% of total number of HK students with 7 to 10 'A's)
• JUPAS applicants admitted with 3 to 6 'A's in HKALE (% of total number of HK students with 3 to 6 'A's)
• Percentage of students admitted with Grade A in Use of English

Research

Among any participating UGC (government)-funded institution,

• We have the largest amount of competitive funding (9 times in the past 10 exercises)
• We have the highest number of publications published in journals tracked by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI)
• We have over 100 professors who have been ranked as being among the world’s top 1% of scientists based on the number of citations recorded in their publications

Scholarship & Prizes

• We have around 2,500 scholarships and prizes, worth more than HK$20 million in total, available each year for our undergraduate students.
• The HKU Foundation Entrance Scholarship Scheme was established specifically to provide support for EAS students who demonstrate excellence in academic endeavours.
